Android 6.0 Bug Fixes on Your Infinix Hot 2 Android One

I’m aware lots of people using Infinix hot 2 have already upgrade their smartphone to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Some are enjoying it while some people are bitterly complaining about the new Android 6.0.

A twitter user messaged me over the weekend and it appears his own issues with the Android 6.0 on Infinix hot 2 are
-->Battery drain
-->Lost all his data and files after the upgrade.

While some other users are reporting that …
==>Their backed up contacts on Google account only displays number and not name after making a call. I.e when a number you already saved in your contact called you, it only display number and not name.
==>You can’t access any of your previous files on your phone and yet it shows the space occupied
==>Not recognizing USB on PC.
==>PSP game not playing

Regardless of what your own bug might be. It is important you note that, this is just the first roll out update for all Android One device and there will definitely be a bug. Unlike some other 2 persons near me who upgraded theirs without any issue at all… went smoothly. Wait for Android 6.0.1 rollout to fix this bug.

Solutions
For those of you having Contact not displaying names after making or receiving a call, do this
==>Go to your google settings and remove all google account, after some minutes or so add them back and it will be fix.

Those of your not having access to your files and document, check if guess mode is enabled

If Battery drain on your device on Android 6.0, wait for few days for the software to settle, if nothing happen, then go to settings>>>Apps>>check apps that are currently running  on your phone and force stop the ones you are not using.

And if you’ve not yet upgraded to Android 6.0, please back up your files, document, videos etc on your memory card and then remove it from your device before the upgrade.

Kindly tell us what issue you are currently having with the latest rollout of Android 6.0 on your Android One devices
